Paper No: 174

Abstract: Observations are provided on the pollination of Melaleuca lanceolata Otto and Verticordia picta Endl. (both Myrtaceae) by the scarab beetle Phyllotocus ustulatus Blanchard (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae), the pollination of Leucopogon parviflorus (Andr.) Lindl. (Epacridaceae) by the native wasp Scolia bimaculata Smith (Hymenoptera: Scoliidae) and the pollination of Eryngium pinnatifidum Bunge (Apiaceae) by the beetle Mordellisterna sp. (Coleoptera: Mordellidae). All these observations were made during 1980 in various areas of south-west Western Australia.
