Abstract: Further research by me has shown that several species o f Buprestidae mentioned in a previous paper (Hawkeswood 1978) have been misidentified while some are possibly undescribed. These errors are emended in the corrections presented below. Specimens of all species mentioned are now housed in the South Australian Museum (SAM).
